Nikon is a founding member of SL Law Group, PLLC, specializing in transactional real estate law, estate planning, and estate administration. A native of New York, he graduated from the University of Albany in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing.

After graduation, Nikon worked at Morgan Stanley for three years before joining Sandler O’Neill and Partners in 2001 as a trader, contributing to the company's recovery post-September 11th. He attended New York Law School evenings from 2003 to 2007 and was admitted to the New York bar in 2008 and Connecticut bar in 2009, continuing his work at Sandler O’Neill.



In 2012, Nikon transitioned to a legal career under Hon. Joseph Risi, and in 2014, he founded his own practice, working with banks and private clients on real estate transactions and business issues. He is a title insurance agent for major companies and has drafted various estate plans and

Steven Simicich is a zoning and land use lawyer who has had great success providing creative solutions for challenging real estate requirements. Steven is strategically focused with demonstrated ability to circumvent the administrative and legal processes involved in attaining entitlements and approvals for clients.

His strengths include deep knowledge of New York City zoning law and policy, environmental, real estate and administrative law. Steven has earned a reputation for effective project management, negotiation and influencing skills, particularly dealing with elected officials and community stake-holders.

Steven is a Board Member of the Astoria Park Alliance, Queens, NY as well as a Board Member of the Village Alliance, Manhattan, NY.


He received is Doctor of Law from Saint John’s University School of Law and a certificate of Sustainable Design, Construction and Development from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
