Nikon is the founding member of SL Law Group, PLLC. Nikon specialized in the area of transactional real estate law, estate planning and administration of estates. Nikon is a native of New York. Nikon graduated from the University of Albany in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing.

Following graduation, Nikon worked at Morgan Stanley. In 2001, after three years at Morgan Stanley, Nikon joined Sandler O’Neill and Partners as a trader and helped in the effort to rebuild the company after the tragic of events of September 11th. While working at Sandler O’Neill, Nikon went to New York Law School in the evenings from 2003 to 2007. Following admission to the New York bar in 2008 and the Connecticut bar in 2009, Nikon continued to work at Sandler O’Neill.

In 2012, Nikon finally left Wall Street and embarked on his legal career under the tutelage of the Hon. Joseph Risi. In 2014, he started his own law practice. He works extensively with bank clients and with private clients in real estate transactions, development and business-related issues. Nikon is a title insurance agent for First American Title, Connecticut Attorney Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Title.

Additionally, Nikon has experience drafting wills, trusts, simple and complex estate plans. He also has experience administering, revoking and decanting both revocable and irrevocable trusts. Nikon adivses fiduciaries in connection with probate and estate and trust administration matters and represents individuals and fiduciaries before the New York and Connecticut Surrogate’s Courts and the IRS.

Nikon was President of the Long Island City Lawyers Club 2018-19 and is currently on the board of the Long Island City YMCA. Active in his community, he works closely with the Community Board 1 in Astoria/Long Island City.
